In July, Germany's  full membership in the SKAO of  has come to an end. The change of the membership has been announced by the BMBF last year and has numerous implications and restrictions for German scientist and German Industry in the near future.

German scientists represent the fourth largest contributors to the SKA science case. Germany is involved in 6 of the 11 consortia designing the SKA telescope, including the Central Signal Processor, Dish, Low Frequency Aperture Array, Science Data Processor, Telescope Manager and Wideband Single Pixel Feed consortia. All these efforts have been recognised by the SKAO and GLOWSKA has been invited as an observer in the SKA board.

The most important step to get Germany back into the SKAO as a full member is the National Roadmap Process of Infrastructures. This workshop is to coordinate a possible proposal to this process. We invite everybody of the scientific SKA community to this workshop and to join the core team in this process.

Please note that we have a restricted number of participants up to 10 - 20 people, but we will arrange the possibility to dial in or join via the internet.
